How we source our data
European Car Auctions is an aggregator. Every listing on this site comes from a public auction site run by a third party. This page explains what we collect, what we show, what we do not do, and how to tell us when something is wrong.
Where listings come from
We read publicly available auction listings from auction sites across Europe and present them in one searchable format. We do not create listings, add vehicles or change the data a source publishes. The source site is named on every card, on the photo gallery and in the seller box of every detail page, and the “View Auction” button always opens the original listing.
What we show
For each listing we show the fields the source publishes: make, model, year, engine, fuel type, transmission, mileage, colour and VIN when available; the current and starting price in the source currency, with a euro equivalent when available; the number of bids; the first-bid, last-bid and end times; and the seller name and location as published. A field the source does not provide is simply not shown.
Photos
Photos are displayed from the original auction site and remain that site’s property. We do not edit or re-host them, and each gallery states which site they come from. If a photo is missing or unclear, check the original listing.
When a detail differs from the original
A listing can change after we last read it: the price moves with every bid, the seller can edit the description, and an auction can end early or be withdrawn. The “Record updated” line on each detail page tells you when our record of that listing was last updated. Whenever something here differs from the original listing, the original is right.
Popular and Featured
Popular sorts listings by the number of bids. Featured is a selection of listings. Neither is a valuation, a recommendation or a representative sample of the market.
What we do not do
We do not run auctions, take bids, sell vehicles, inspect them, verify sellers or guarantee the accuracy of a listing. Browsing, following auctions and setting alerts are free. Any purchase is a transaction between you and the auction site named on the listing.
Reporting an error
Email info@eucarauctions.com with the listing URL and what looks wrong. We will check it against the original listing and correct or remove our record. More answers in our FAQ.
